Our Story

My husband and I met on a sticky September evening Freshman year of college in Gainesville, at the University of Florida (GO GATORS!). I was pretty smitten with him from the moment we met, but after that night we didn't keep in touch and so our love story actually began a little later in the semester after he invited me to his apartment for a "party" to close out the semester.

Well, this party included myself, my husband, his roommate, and neighbor from down the hall. I secretly was glad nobody came (as most people were studying for exams) because well, less competition. Flirting has never really been my strong suit or getting attention from boys. I am super old fashion, so if they didn't make the first move, there was really no chance anything would have ever happened.

My husband and I spent a lot of that night getting to know each other and come to find out we both were from the same home town and had some of the same mutual friends. I thoroughly enjoyed his company, he was funny, charming and pretty easy on the eyes (if you know what I mean). We spent the next few weeks spending more and more time together just talking and learning about one another. I think this is why still to this day I love talking to my husband. He truly has become my best friend.

We dated all throughout college and tied the knot about a year after graduation. Fast forward 7 years + 3 babies later and we are more in love today than we were back then. My husband has the absolute best heart and is so good to me and our kiddos. As a Real Estate Broker he works really hard to provide for our family and I so appreciate everything that he does for us. We both love the Lord and put Him first in our lives. I truly believe that our faith in God has created the ultimate foundation for our marriage and our ability to talk to one another about anything (good, bad or ugly) has kept us closer than ever. He is my soul mate and my best friend and I couldn't imagine doing this crazy life with anyone else.
