First Things First

You've got the guy and the ring...now what? Before you get too involved with your planning, be sure to decide on your wedding party. Everyone close to you will be wondering so to make it easier on everyone, decide early. Of course it is usually easier to have a smaller wedding party, but if you are the type of person who has 10 best friends there is no limit on the number of people you can have in your wedding party.

The number of people in your wedding party is definitely something you should talk to your fiancé about, making sure that you have the same amount of girls and guys. If you have 7 girls, but he really only wants or has 4 guys worthy of being in your wedding, try to narrow down your girls to four if you can, but at max 5, so that the group still looks balanced. Try not to feel pressured into picking someone to be in your wedding simply because you were in theirs. If you don't really keep in touch with the individual now, you probably won't be in touch with them at all in the next 5-10 years. Be sure to pick those individuals that are closest to you and that will always be in your life.

Morgan and I have a relatively bigger wedding party, but not too big. We have 6 girls and 6 guys, so a total of 12. Here is a look at our group:

The girls:

Brittany Copeland - Maid of Honor (my BFF)

Alyssa Hendricks (my sister)

Brianna Ellis (his sister)
Britton Ulrich

Amaya DeVicente

Kelsey Green

The guys:

Daniel Carniero (Best Man)

Alex Ellis (his brother)

Zach Hendricks (my brother)

Ben Bryant

Devon Wade

Andrej Gulan

We definitely have a good group behind us! It is nice to know that we have such great friends that are rooting for us and supporting us. We are so excited to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives with all of them by our side.
