In Sickness and In Health

11:10:00 PM

Morgan has been sick as a dog for the past couple of days and has now decided to pass a portion of that on to myself. As I laid next to him yesterday, stroking his hair as he slept in my arms, the words in sickness and in health truly became prominent in my head. These words precisely described that moment. I know that I will be by his side no matter what and I also know that he will always be there for me.

Seriously how we felt earlier today...
As I reminisce on the moment that I will walk down the isle to say those precious words to the man I love, I want to talk about vows. Morgan and I from the beginning decided that we wanted to write our own vows. Now this is definitely not for everyone, but for us, I wouldn't have it any other way. I want to express to him how much I love him and my devotion  to him and pledge to him my life in my own words, and he feels the same way.

Here are some sites that might be of help to those of you who may be writing their own vows, but may not want to completely write them from scratch or may just not know how to start:

Morgan has already expressed to me that he is almost done with his vows (10 MONTHS IN ADVANCE! Do I have a good one or what ladies?) I have also started on mine, but me being the perfectionist that I am, they are surely going to change at least a hundred times before I actually say them. Here is a little sneak peak:

Morgan, you are the best man I have ever known. You make me feel alive every moment that we share together. You are my best friend, the one that I love more than anything else in this world; the one who can always bring a smile to my face and who has always been there to wipe the tears from my eyes....

Getting a little emotional just typing this, but I can't share anymore, you all will have wait until after the wedding. Just remember, whether you are writing your own vows or simply repeating after the officiant, make sure that they are heart felt and true. Marriage is a deep and binding commitment and it should be taken very seriously. You are pledging your life to another person and that should never be taken lightly.

Goodnight all, STAY HEALTHY!
