Adelle, my sweet little baby girl, has officially turned ONE!! I don't know what happened to the last year, but we had so much fun celebrating her this past weekend. Check out my last post HERE to see all the details from her Winter ONE-derland party.

One of my favorite things about the first year is just how much they change every single day. One day they are just little squishes laying there, then next thing you know they are sitting up, then crawling, then all of a sudden they are toddling around and BOOM! They are running around and climbing and talking and it is just the coolest thing to watch as a parent.

The first year is of course exhausting in its own way, but there is such a sweetness about it that I am really going to miss. My husband and I decided when I was pregnant with Adelle that she would be our last baby. Although I am so happy to have our family be complete, there is still a little bitter-sweetness about the idea of never being pregnant again, or never breastfeeding again, or having those sweet newborn snuggles again. The first year is full of challenges and utter physical exhaustion, but it is also full of so much joy.

Happy Birthday baby girl!!! We love you to the moon and back and could not imagine our family or life without your beautiful spirit and infectious smile. Thank you for bringing so much joy to our lives.
