4th of July Festivities

4:38:00 AM

This is of course a few hours late, but I wanted to wish everyone a very happy 4th of July! I am up very early this morning (3:30am), decided to stay awake after mid-night feeding to pump and also to finish packing and getting ready for our trip up to Washington, D.C. I am a little nervous for baby's first plane ride, but am hoping and praying that everything will go smoothly. More on that later..here is a little recap of our day yesterday...but first :

Had to share this little cutie with you!

Although, I wouldn't say our 4th of July was low key, we did end up missing fireworks this year (cue sad music) because of weather and fussy baby was ready for bed after a looong day. But all in all we had a fabulous day spending time with tons of family. Just a prequel to the crazy family weekend we are about to have.

Our day consisted of attending a 4th of July block party hosted by my cousin's husband's law firm, Bulluck Law Group..very glad it was cloudy, otherwise would not have survived!

My uncle Terry laughing at Gabriel making funny faces :)

Love baby sunglasses!!

Getting a little mommy/baby time in between events

After the block party we headed to my parent's house for a family cookout. Gabriel took a nice snooze when we first got there...I often think of how nice it would be to be a baby, seriously just get to take naps whenever and wherever you want (sigh).

passed out!

Daddy and Super Baby!!

I don't know if you can see the nice string of drool heading straight for my husband's face...haha

Well that's it for now..off to finish packing and get ready for a crazy weekend! I hope that everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!!
